This year's event was held on Saturday, April 14, 2018. The 7th annual 5K and 1-Mile Kids Fun Run benefited the Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau's service projects for women and children in Haiti! The event was held at Arena Park - Kiwanis Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
Despite the horrible thunderstorms all through the night, the rain stopped around 7:30am and held off for the entire race! Not even a sprinkle touched our runners, and it ended up being a wonderful cool morning for a run! In the end, we had 51 registrations for the 5K, 14 registrations for the 1-mile Fun Run, and 7 Virtual Runners, bringing our total to 72 participants!
