2018 Woman of Achievement Nominee
Felice is an Outreach Coordinator for the Community Counseling Center and founder of S.N.A.P, (Stop Needless Acts of Violence Please). During her seventeen years as a counselor, Felice has been a strong advocate for numerous families throughout five counties in Southeast Missouri. The pain of losing her son, Quinton, to a needless act of violence, led her to address the issue of violence in our community and search for ways to encourage cooperation between residents and law enforcement. Felice’s campaign for peace includes unity teas, prayer marches, monthly meetings and vigils. Her hope is to be “that bright light” in our community so that no other family will endure the pain of losing a loved one.
